Books to Sell ?

We are always interested in buying quality Transport & Industrial History Books – as one of the UK’s leading dealers we pay top prices for Quality books and ephemera (Timetables, booklets etc).

Are you disposing of the collection of a deceased relative or friend? We offer an efficient and swift means of sale and disposal to a reputable dealer such as ourselves will often achieve a much better price than sale through Auction etc (where the Auctioneers will usually take a 25% cut!). Unlike many dealers we buy complete collections - we do not weed out the better books and leave you with the rest (conversely we are not interested in collections which have already been weeded by others!).

Mining – we buy all books on Metal Mining – especially books published by HMRS, Moorland, Bradford Barton, Twelveheads, Dyllansow Truran, also related Geological Books (HMSO Geological Surveys etc)

However we do not generally buy the following:
loose magazines (except IRRS & IRS Journals, Locomotives Illustrated)
Railway books by Garrett, Allen, Adley, Nock, Hollingsworh, Hamilton-Ellis
Any Coffee table type books by Publishers other than listed above

We will travel anywhere in the UK/Ireland to collect larger quality collections (250+ books) – smaller collections can be collected within 50 miles of Manchester or can be mailed.

We will always need to know condition of books (and dustwrappers – books lacking dustwrappers are worth considerably less) and where you are located.
