Our shop in Horwich has some 25,000 books on most subjects as well as an extensive selection of our specialist stock - much of which is not catalogued on-line. We also have many magazines, timetables, photos and other items of Transport ephemera. We pride ourselves on not having large quantities of unsorted rubbish, just good quality books at very reasonable prices (so our customers say!). Friendly, knowledgeable service - some people just come for a chat!

Directions - from M61 follow signs to Bolton, past Reebok Stadium (over roundabout and straight through the Lights). At the next roundabout (with the Beehive Pub/Travel Inn opposite) turn Left, following signs for Horwich. Keep on this road for approx 1.5 miles - past the Old Loco Works, Fire Station (on left) and overthe old railway Bridge. At the Lights over this bridge turn right into Horwich Town Centre. If you were to go straight up this road to the top our shop is just off to the right at the top of the main street (on the B6226, opposite the Nat West bank) - however there is no parking outside the shop so you are best to park in free car park off to the right behind the Post Office and then walk (it's only 2 minutes). On Saturdays parking is available in the private car park behind the shop (off Harrison Street).
